Battery Relocation

The stock battery was removed, as this is and are known to leak or come adrift and break the clamshell.  I placed the replacement battery on the firewall, and made a thin aluminum bracket to mount the battery.  By moving the battery I removed about 8 feet of battery cable, plus a junction box. All up the battery was 13.5 lbs lighter, I removed 3.3 lbs of cable, and about 0.5 lbs other junk.

Alarm

I junked the stock alarm & immobilizer. The stock piece is not good - it is so poorly designed that if you switch the interior light off the alarm then will randomly sound sometime over the next 20 minutes - 2 days.  I replaced the stock alarm with a two way unit - so that it pages me if there is a problem.

ECU Wiring

The ECU was wired into the Lotus chassis harness, and I added a bank of relays above the battery for the engine bay to replace the Lotus multi-function relay boxes - which I don't trust.  I managed to use the existing fuse boxes.

Battery, fuse box and fuel pressure regulator.

About 12 extra wires were run from the rear of the car to both the dash and front cavity for future use.

HID Headlights

HID headlights were added.

Horn

The single tone horn with a dual tone horn (which incidentally is lighter with two horns than the stock single horn).
